By upgrading to copper wire, not only is it more economical (the refining process is a lot simpler, and uses far less energy when compared to aluminium) but it doesn’t corrode, and can last for up to 40 years.  It’s high melting point means it won’t be melted or deformed by electrical surges, and due to its ductility and malleability, you can run it pretty much anywhere, and a lost easier – meaning it can be installed faster.
